Wool Hexie Stocking PDF PATTERN
The Wool Hexie Christmas Stocking makes a great Christmas decoration or gift for family members. You’ll learn how to piece hexagons together with a special technique using fusible interfacing. I’ll show you an easy way to cut the hexagons and sew them together. Next we’ll assemble the stocking and the lining. Finally we’ll put it all together and add some fun accents.

What you’ll need:
1 Fat (approx. 9” x 21”) of Wool, in 7 colors (ie: Red, Orange, Navy, Olive, Pear, Magenta, Turquoise)1⁄2 yard Lining fabric, such as quilting cotton
1 yard Interfacing, such as SF101
1⁄2 yard Batting or fusible eece
Thread
Iron
Presscloth
Fabric Shears or rotary cutter and mat
Pinking shears (optional)
Sewing machine
