Whip up a sweet mug of hot chocolate for your holiday tree. The Hot Chocolate Ornament is a three-dimensional felt mug embellished with a beautiful snowflake embroidery and topped with 2 felty marshmallows. So fun to make for a sweet gift!
My 6-page printable PDF instructions include step-by-step diagrams, pattern templates, embroidery stitch glossary and all the assembly directions you'll need to make this treat. The finished mug measures about 2" tall. This is NO SEW project! If you are a non-sewer, this mug is for you! You can leave off the embroidery if needlework is not your thing. :)

Materials you'll need:
- Blue wool blend craft felt, 6” x 7”
- Chocolate brown wool blend craft felt, 2” x 2”
- White wool blend craft felt, 2” x 4”
- White embroidery floss (I used size 5 cotton perle)
- Cardboard TP or PT tube
- Scrap pieces of thin cardboard (like a cereal box)
- Baker’s twine or cording
- Craft Glue (I use Aleene’s Tacky Glue)
