Wool + Iron: fiber art study No.2

Wool + Iron is an exploration of vintage materials inspired by my grandmother's collection of antique iron rests. I experimented with wrapping, stitching and crocheting brightly colored wool yarn to create a collection of one-of-a-kind wall hangings

Study No. 2:

• embellished with bright green, magenta and pink vintage wool yarn with a gold wool felt background
• finished piece measures 10 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide
• antique iron rest has a faint rusty patina due to age
• iron hanging hook and screw included
